Today I did my rehearsal for the composition. I'm a bit jealous of Mourezky because he got the challenge where he switched instrument with Chiora for a week. I wish I could get the challenge.

Today we had a rehearsal for the pentatonic scale composition. i did'nt bring my music book so i did'nt do my rehearsal and I got a marking and I did'nt do my blog for 6 weeks so another marking and i did'nt practice for the composition so another marking. So 3 marking in one day is real bad.

Today we wrote our composition on the hard copy. We had to make a title for it and almost everyone wrote ...... melody. We also had to write the background of the song and all that.

We had the asian music tesst today. At first I thought we had to memorize it but we did'nt. So much for studying. But it was still real hard. We got extra time somehow. We also submitted our composition to be checked.

25 oct

Today we learned the pentatonic scale which was like c d e g a. We also got a music assement where we had to make a composition with one of the pentatonic scales which was the c d e g a and the c e f g b.

21 oct

Today we did some melody thing where we had to correct Mr. Sadrakhs melody or something like that. A lot of people got sent out of the class. We also got our scores for our test and the booklet scores as well. I got 20/20 which is a bit impossible since it was so hard. Then I got 7/8 for my booklet score.

18 oct

Today we had a redo for our asian music slide presentation. My final score was 5.7 which was real bad. Mr. Sadrakh said that he will tells us our score for the written test and the booklet score as well but he said that he was going to tell us on thurday which sort of sucks.

14 oct

Today Mr. Sadrakh was absent. We did the asian music slide presentation with Mr. John. I did,nt do much to participate in it but I still said a lot.

4 oct

Today we did a written test for music theoty which we prepared for so hard. It was very hard even for me. Then we practiced our asian song.

30 sept

Today we reported the progress of our project for China group and the rest of the asian music groups. We also prepared for the test again after we were done reporting. Except this time it was a bit more serious.

27 sept

Today we did the same thing like last week which was learning the chord but this time we also learned it with the inversions which meant that the do in do mi so had to go one octave up. it was a bit confusing but it was OK anyway. We were also preparing for the written test.

23 sept

Today, we learned the chord like do mi so and all that in different scales, like the g major one is so si re. We also learned the flat scale. We only learned until b flat major.

20 sept

Today Chiora and Choi did their assement today. We also got booklets stating the dates of our upcoming assesments for term 2.

6th Sepetember

Today we had our asian music performance assesment. I got 8.5 which is sort of bad. I hope I can get a perfect score in the next time.

2 September

Today, we practiced our music instument assesment song together during music theory time. Only Madilyn did her assesment today because she was'nt going to be here on Monday because she was going to Paris or something.

30 August

Today, we were told our scores of our projects. Our whole group got perfect. We also got the final score of our singing assesment where we had to sing the Pulau Kelapa song. I'm really proud of the score I got for my assesment. I hope I'll get a high score for my music instrument assesment too.

26 August

Today, we reported our group project again.We also had to say the sharp scales from 1 sharp to 4 sharp. We were finished with our project and all we have to do now is to bind the pages together and find similarities between the instruments.

23 August

Today, I was late again. We reported the progress of our project. I did'nt get to say anything but I still  researched a bit. I should resarch more and stop playing video games and watching TV.

16 August

Todat, we were discussing about the reflection that we had to put in a blog which is what I did. The whole class got a reminder because we were all late which is a bit hard to beleive.

12 August

Today we learned the 4 sharp scale which was e major. Since I learned it before too so this meeting was a bit boring and easy.

9 August

Today, we learned about the 2 sharp scale, D major and the 3 sharp scale which was the A major scale. It  was hard for some others but since I learned it before, it was'nt so hard to me. We also got a project on finding instruments from 2 places and finding similarities about them.

22 july

We learned the g major todat. It had one sharp which was the f sharp. I also learnedabout the flat which is like the sharp but instead makes the note go down a semitone. I also learned many other signs likethe natural, double sharp and double flat.

19 july

Today,we learned about the C major scale or the natural scale. We learned the distance from i note to another with quizzes or small games. They were like C to E is 2. I have to improve on not speaking to quickly because I made a mistake and had to stand up.
